August 11 is National 811 Day!

In case you haven’t noticed, we are big fans of 811 here at Colliers Engineering & Design. Our friends at North Carolina 811 always have something new going on to promote their message: Call Before You Dig!

Check out the 811DayChallenge – North Carolina 811 (nc811.org) on TikTok! Why participate?  Because you can have a little fun getting the word out while having a chance to win some great prizes! Third place winners will receive a EMART Ring Light with Tripod Stand and phone holder, Second place will receive a Gimbal Stabilizer for smartphones, and First place will receive a Green screen background system and lighting kit!

The NC811 group is dedicated to promoting damage prevention and safe digging. Now they’ve made submitting a ticket easier than ever through their interactive app.  The NC811 app puts Smart digging at your fingertips with everything you need before and after your locate request. Check the status of your locate with Positive Response, use S.A.T. to submit your Single Address Tickets, update your locate with Update Lite and see who else is digging near you with Near Ticket!
