At Nuvance Health’s Norwalk facility, biophilic elements and thoughtful design create a 14,500-square-foot refuge for behavioral healthcare. Working closely from the project’s inception, architects and interior designers crafted a space that balances privacy with community care. The welcoming lobby features discrete check-in areas and semi-private waiting spaces, while maintaining open sightlines and abundant natural light throughout.

The thoughtfully designed space includes two conference rooms, five group therapy spaces, and thirty-three private offices to comprehensively serve the behavioral health needs of Norwalk and its surrounding communities. Each element was carefully considered to create an environment that supports both private consultations and community-based group sessions, ensuring holistic care delivery for the region.
