Understanding Space to Improve Care
MaineHealth engaged our team to support future planning across five healthcare facilities spanning two states and approximately 490,000 square feet of active clinical space. At its core, this effort was about more than documentation, it was about giving decision-makers the clarity they need to improve how care is delivered. By creating an accurate, systemwide understanding of existing conditions, the project empowers MaineHealth to plan smarter, adapt faster, and invest where it matters most for patients, staff, and the broader community.
Delivering Clarity Without Disruption
Our team provided mobile mapping, 3D scanning, and floor plan development using a multifaceted approach that combined static scanners with mobile mapping technology. This allowed us to efficiently capture complex, fully operational healthcare environments and translate that data into reliable two-dimensional plans.
Fieldwork was completed in just 14 days, all while maintaining strict adherence to patient privacy and safety protocols. Through careful coordination and a technology-driven approach, we delivered a comprehensive, high-quality dataset with minimal disruption, equipping MaineHealth with a lasting tool to support ongoing planning, operational efficiency, and better care outcomes.
