Rochester, NYCompleted the design, construction administration, start-up and commissioning of a 1,500-ton chilled glycol system and ammonia/CO2 refrigeration facility.
The new chiller plant services the bakery operations for a large regional grocer in Rochester NY. The project included designing a new building to house the chiller and refrigeration equipment, as well as the necessary site development work, permitting, power requirements, controls planning, security, and fire alarm systems. The chiller system uses turbo core compressors, open water cooling towers, and primary/variable secondary pumping systems. The refrigeration portion of the facility incorporated blast resistant construction and blow out panels.
