Colliers Engineering & Design has been retained by Black & Veatch to provide a variety of professional services for a large number of projects. We are servicing the greater Denver metropolitan area, as well as the Colorado Springs area. Services we are providing to our client include subsurface utility engineering (SUE), professional land surveying, and Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) construction observation.
SUE tasks have included accurately and comprehensively identifying, characterizing, and mapping the positions of subsurface utilities in accordance with the 38-02 guidelines established by the American Society of Civil Engineers. Mapping of underground utilities was used to aid in the engineering and planning of multiple miles of fiber-optic installation. The data was obtained through a process of near-surface geophysics and minimally destructive vacuum excavation in conjunction with geospatial survey. Land surveying services have included boundary and right-of-way surveys, as well as aerial reconnaissance using Unmanned Aerial Systems. CDOT construction observation services have provided our client with necessary data for their records.
