By Colliers Engineering & Design

Holmdel, NJ – Colliers Engineering & Design, a national multi-discipline engineering, architecture, design and consulting firm, is pleased to announce it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Phase Zero Design Corporation, a commercial architecture, interior design, and branding firm with offices in Simsbury, CT, Hingham, MA and Cary, NC. Phase Zero Design will rebrand as Colliers Engineering & Design in late 2024.

“With the addition of Phase Zero Design, CED gains an award-winning team of professionals that expands our architectural, interior design and branding services nationwide,” said Kevin L. Haney, President and CEO, Colliers Engineering & Design. “We are excited about the abundance of opportunities that this presents for our clients and our people, working together to advance the built environment.”

Phase Zero Design has been serving its clients with excellence since 2009. The firm brings a client-centric approach to six key sectors: academic, healthcare, hospitality, multi-family, residential, retail, and workplace.

“Joining Colliers Engineering & Design enables us offer our clients a unique range of experiences and perspectives, ensuring that their design visions and goals are achieved,” said Matt Wittmer, AIA, LEED AP, Principal, Phase Zero Design.

“Now, as part of a large, multi-discipline firm that shares our employee culture and focuses on excellence, we have access to invaluable training and professional development,” said Jim Kimball, AIA, Principal, Phase Zero Design. “This ensures our team will continue to have ample prospects for career growth, and our clients will benefit from an expanded team of expert problem solvers.”

Adding Phase Zero Design’s capabilities to CED’s existing service lines promises to create a dynamic and positive environment, positioning CED to better serve their clients with more comprehensive services and continued growth opportunities within the E/A industry.
