Telecommunications Structural Expert Brings Strategic Vision to Houston

Colliers Engineering & Design is pleased to welcome Ali Abbaszadeh, P.E. as Technical Department Manager in the firm’s Houston office. With over twelve years of comprehensive experience in structural engineering and technical leadership, Abbaszadeh brings exceptional expertise and proven management capabilities to drive the Telecom Department’s technical operations as well as strategic growth throughout Texas.

A dual-degree graduate with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University (2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Persian Gulf University (2010), Abbaszadeh has spent his career mastering various aspects of structural analysis, design, and project management. Most recently serving as Engineering Manager at Electro Mechanical Industries since March 2025, he led a team of engineers to design various steel infrastructure products both within and outside of the telecom industry. Prior to that, Abbaszadeh spent over five years as Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer at Crown Castle, where he led engineering teams and specialized in telecommunication tower structural analysis.
Throughout his career, Abbaszadeh has successfully managed complex structural projects and engineering teams across multiple disciplines. His expertise spans steel and reinforced concrete design, foundation systems, structural retrofitting, telecommunication structures, and construction inspection. As a licensed Professional Engineer in eight states including Texas, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, and Michigan, he brings comprehensive regulatory knowledge and technical versatility to the role.
