Ewing Township, Mercer County, NJThe College of New Jersey Campus Town Development
Ewing Township, Mercer County, NJProvided professional services for a new Campus Town mixed-use development at the College of New Jersey, which included the development of 14 acres of property adjacent to the campus along Pennington Road. Campus Town was designed to be a sustainable, walk-able, and environmentally responsible complex near the campus that serves as an alternative to traveling by car to shopping and other services along nearby Route 1. The development contains over 400 apartment units; approximately 80,000 SF of retail; a fitness center; and campus police substation. To accommodate the development, the existing signalized intersection at Route 31 and Main Boulevard was modified to allow for new movements and a fourth leg. Services included traffic modeling and analysis, a brand new traffic signal and lighting system, roadway widening, signing and striping plans, traffic control plans, ADA ramp design, and construction administration services. We also provided landscape architecture services, including landscaping, lighting, streetscape and paving plans, and Tree/Forest evaluation for No-Net Loss calculations
