Located between 6th Street & 8th Street and Landis Avenue, The Sea Isle City Dog Park project transformed an existing clamshell gravel parking lot into a vibrant and functional recreational area for the Sea Isle City community and their pets. Addressing long-standing frustrations about beach and boardwalk pet restrictions, this initiative is a community-driven solution.

This project involved re-grading the surface of the original gravel lot and finishing it with beach sand, creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for dogs to play. There are also two fenced-in areas for both small and large dogs to play freely. The park features expanded parking using similar gravel and clamshell materials. New concrete walkways were installed, along with specific water services to support hydration stations for dogs.

A large shade pavilion next to the dog park will serve as a picnic area for human visitors. Other amenities include bicycle racks, a bicycle repair station, and trash and recycling receptacles.

The project required adherence to stringent product specifications outlined by the County, which mandated the use of certain pavilions and fencing. Despite the specific requirements, our team efficiently managed the construction process, delivering a quality space that meets the community’s needs.
