Colliers Engineering & Design assisted the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) during the planning, design, and construction of the multi-phase Residence Hall Quad Enhancement Project.

The project’s initial phase included the construction of a new 43,500 gsf residence hall, North Hall, which houses 153 students on six floors and features amenities like workrooms, makerspace, a shared kitchen, and outdoor terrace. Upon completion, the next phase included renovations of South and Homer Halls as well as a refresh of Nickerson Hall, totaling 87,000 gsf. The state-of-the-art project engaged an Integrated Project Delivery Method (IPD) to collaboratively fuse the talents of the team.
