Provided Monmouth County with construction inspection and contract administration services during the reconstruction of Bridge S-17, on County Route 10 (West Front Street) over Swimming River in the Borough of Red Bank and the Township of Middletown. This federally-funded project included the construction of an approximately 488-ft long curved steel girder bridge consisting of six approximately 80-ft long spans, supported on pile bents, and pile supported abutments.

The improvements included substructure bridge painting and the construction of approach embankments and retaining walls, with the approach embankments confined by steel sheet pile retaining walls to minimize the impact on wetlands and adjacent properties. Ornamental improvements included features such as ornamental lights; decorative recessed brick panel parapet with decorative ball and cap railing; approach roadway improvements including minor roadway widening; concrete sidewalks for both sides of the bridge to provide an ADA accessible route; stormwater drainage facilities; highway lighting; and new guide rail treatments.
