The Public Service Commission (PSC) requires that documentation be maintained on all new gas pipeline installation. Colliers Engineering & Design was contracted to provide land survey services to conduct an as-built survey of the installation of a 30-inch gas pipeline in Brooklyn. Multiple survey field crews are on-site daily to locate installed pipes, welds, fittings, utility interferences, and edge of trench ground shots.

Our survey crews work directly with client supervisors and welding inspectors. All field data is processed and drafted by a Senior Survey Technician to conform to client specifications. The Senior Survey Technician also prepares updates to the as-built plan and profile, welding location log spreadsheet, and survey data text files on a daily basis.
