NW 34th Avenue over Comfort Canal

The existing Bridge No. 876417 located on NW 34th Ave. crossing over Comfort Canal/C-5 had become functionally obsolete and structurally deficient, therefore Colliers Engineering & Design (CED) was tasked with replacing it. Project limits extended from north of SR 836/Dolphin Expressway to NW 14th St. CED provided analysis, structures plans, and LRFR rating for this 40 ft. single span skewed bridge consisting of a concrete superstructure using 12-inch Florida Slab Beams.
