Colliers Engineering & Design (CED) provided design services for the NW 21st Avenue Mobility Improvement/Bridge Replacement project from Oakland Park Blvd. to Commercial Blvd. This project consisted of widening 1.5 miles of road to add buffered bike lanes, adding sidewalk at gap locations, upgrading ADA features, and replacing the existing bridge over the SFWMD C-13 canal. The scope of work also included drainage, signing and pavement markings, lighting, signalization and landscaping upgrades.

CED’s construction cost estimate came within 1% of that of the contractor’s bid, reflecting the accuracy of our estimating staff. Our Roadways & Structures teams also received an outstanding District Four PASS Score of 4 for our Final Plans Submittal. CED also provided post-design services and construction support.
