During 2017, Colliers Engineering & Design provided Monmouth County on-call  traffic engineering services. Various tasks were assigned to review traffic design for roadway/traffic signal improvement projects and 32 individual tasks, ranging in scope, were assigned over the course of the year. Most assignments related to the review of safety and operational issues at specific locations and development of design improvements to address these issues in a timely and cost-effective manner. In total, our team designed modifications to seven traffic signals as part of this assignment.

One of the more extensive efforts related to the development of Fort Monmouth (and coordination with the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority). We assisted the County in extending CR 537 through the Fort and developed roadway striping/signing and traffic signal designs on aerial mapping to accommodate the urgent time frame for improvements.
