Provided civil/site engineering, land surveying, and geotechnical engineering for a new 35,981 SF Mercedes-Benz dealership and service center located on 6.4 acres of land in Harriman, NY. The development includes a covered, open-air service drive of 4,000 SF; 379 parking spaces; multiple Electric Vehicle charge stations; a two-story, 1,560 SF building housing a general office, conference room, and manager’s office; an additional one-story, 14,000 SF space housing a showroom and offices; a 2,940 SF parts area; and a 16,480 SF service/car wash area with 13 car lifts and three truck (sprinter van) bays, tech bathrooms, locker rooms, and break room.

Our services included performing a boundary and topographic survey of the property and conducting a subsurface exploration to evaluate the subsurface conditions for the construction of the new structure and provide geotechnical recommendations for proposed foundation construction. We also developed concept, preliminary, and final site plans, as well as a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. Our professionals were also tasked with water main permitting to the Orange County Health Department and soil erosion control inspections.
