For the City of Shavano Park, Colliers Engineering & Design is providing street design to match the existing width of the roadway. This major road runs from Lockhill Selma to Northwest Military Highway. We provided a utility conflict matrix, continually updated to identify potential solutions for each conflict throughout the project progress. For the storm drain design, we provided plan and profile for storm drain and laterals and progress sets at 30, 60, and 90%, allowing the City opportunities for input. Additional services include land survey, archaeological resources review, street design, storm drain design, water relocation design, utility coordination, water pollution abatement plan, and bidding and construction administration services. The project is located in the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone which required TCEQ approval of Best Management Practices (BMP) through a Water Pollution Abatement Plan.  We designed the BMP to minimize cost while providing the required water quality.
