Connecticut State Office Building
Hartford, CTColliers Project Leaders provided commissioning services for the restoration and renovation of the historic Connecticut State Office Building, built in 1931, and construction of a new parking garage in Hartford, CT.
The project included the restoration and renovation of the building exterior, renovation of the central exterior courtyard, and reconfiguration of the existing building entrances. The existing parking structure was demolished and replaced with a new $34 Million, 1,007-space garage. The adaptive reuse project also included all new windows, HVAC, electrical systems, fire alarm and fire protection systems, and telecommunication systems. The project complies with USGBC’s standards for LEED Silver and Connecticut High Performance Building standards.
