Compass Datacenters
Goodyear, AZOur team designed a significant portion of Goodyear’s “Technology Corridor” at Bullard Avenue and Van Buren Street. The centerpiece of this project is a 190-acre data center for Compass Datacenters, featuring six buildings with a total capacity of 210 MW at full build-out. We also completed one mile of off-site improvements for Bullard Avenue, with plans for an additional half-mile of improvements on Yuma Road in a future phase.
The project’s first building and Bullard Avenue improvements are already complete, while buildings 2 through 6 are under construction. Our work involved rezoning from agricultural to light industrial with a PAD overlay and coordinating fiber and power infrastructure to serve the data center buildings.
Additionally, we facilitated the installation of an onsite Arizona Public Service substation for power supply and rerouted the existing Roosevelt Irrigation lateral to accommodate the project. This comprehensive approach ensured the seamless integration of the data center complex with the surrounding infrastructure, contributing to the growth of Goodyear’s technology sector.
