Brightspeed, a major internet service provider, recently embarked on an ambitious project in Wytheville, Virginia, to install over 300,000 feet of high-speed fiber for aerial and underground connections. To help them achieve their goals, our firm collaborated with Excell Communications and worked closely with local permitting entities to obtain all necessary field and office work approvals. The project’s scope included a comprehensive survey of approximately 1,800 poles across Wytheville, assessing structural integrity and mapping locations. Detailed CAD drawings were developed to map out the fiber-optic network’s underground and aerial routes, providing a clear blueprint for the installation process.
