The Brickell Key Bridge was rehabilitated under our City of Miami Miscellaneous Construction Engineering Services contract. This task work order driven contract resulted in eight CEI assignments ranging from water main & sewer line installations to bridge rehabilitation.

This bridge rehabilitation project consisted of the repair and reconstruction of damaged concrete areas along the bridge’s intermediate and end bent caps, inclusive of external structural strengthening with carbon fiber. The project further required repair of existing damaged piling using pile jackets with cathodic protection, repair of deck top concrete, top deck sealing, and coatings.
