Avalon Tinton Falls

Avalon Tinton Falls is a multi-family residential development consisting of 216 rental units and appurtenant site improvements. In addition, this complex contains a club house, a lease office, a pool, a tot lot, a dog run, a refuse and recycling center, and a barbeque area.
This project is adjacent to a C-1 waterway, which posed unique challenges for stormwater management and discharge. Various stormwater best management practices were implemented to maximize the use of this developable area while still meeting the State’s stringent stormwater management requirements. The solution consisted of an innovative combination of stormwater management techniques such as porous pavement, subsurface recharge, biofiltration swales, low impact channel stabilization, and a wet pond.
