Expanding structural engineering services in Texas
Colliers Engineering & Design is a leading multi-discipline A/E, consulting and design firm serving public and private clients nationwide. With over two decades of experience and boots-on-the-ground experience in Texas, the firm provides local expertise, and national resources to clients across the Lone Star State. Our Texas offices offer comprehensive services with in-house experts who have local insight and experience. With several strategic office locations throughout north, central, and south Texas, the Texas team is ready to serve any site promptly and with a direct point of contact.
The firm is excited to announce that they are enhancing their services for Texas clients. On July 31, 2026, the Austin-based TDI Engineering team joined Colliers Engineering & Design, further strengthening its ability to serve commercial development clients throughout the state. The TDI team’s senior leaders are now shareholders in the firm and will continue to oversee their operations and clients.
The TDI team has worked on many projects in Austin, including Greyrock at Circle C, a four-story, senior living facility in Southwest Austin. This senior living facility has 152 units totaling approximately 174,000 square feet. Also notable was an urban infill redevelopment project at 1108 Nueces in Austin, for which they did design coordination and both site and building construction for the new construction 22,000 square foot office building located within a short walking distance of the courthouse and the State Capitol Complex. This project included the office build-out, retail space on the ground floor, and covered parking.
A Mighty Combination
“This decision is the result of a long, thoughtful process that developed naturally. We began this journey as part of our 20-year celebration by engaging a consultant to help evaluate what opportunities we should consider as we look toward the future. Through that process, the idea emerged to explore partnerships with strong engineering firms that would enable us to benefit from their experience and resources,” explained Austin’s Jeffrey Cloyd, PE MLSE, Structural Director and Principal on the TDI team. “We were fortunate to connect with Colliers Engineering & Design, and it became readily apparent that there was a strong synergy between our companies. By joining them, we will better serve clients, grow sustainably, and unlock new opportunities.”
The TDI team brings extensive civil and structural engineering expertise across a diverse range of project types with advanced technical capabilities. The Principles take pride in the fact that over 90% of clients are either repeat customers or referrals from existing clients. With decades of experience and trusted relationships supporting private-sector development projects including for developers, retailers, architects, contractors, and commercial real estate professionals, their portfolio includes retail, mixed-use, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, office, and other commercial developments.

Together We Can Do More
While maintaining strong local teams and relationships, joining Colliers Engineering & Design expands the TDI team’s capabilities. The acquisition reinforces Colliers Engineering & Design’s commitment to providing cutting-edge, multi-discipline engineering, architecture, design and consulting services to the public and private sector clients while expanding its service offerings and community impacts.
“With the addition of the TDI team, we are strengthening and expanding our existing civil and structural engineering service lines, allowing us to seek broader opportunities in the Texas markets” explained Kevin L. Haney, PE, president & CEO, Colliers Engineering & Design. “The TDI team has built a strong reputation for quality and client trust, and through our shared focus on people, quality and long-term relationships, we are well positioned for continued growth.”
“Together, we can do more—helping you bring projects to market faster, solve increasingly complex development challenges, and accelerate success for the communities we serve,” said Roger Meredith, P.E., Managing Director of the TDI team.

Everyone benefits.”
