TAMPA BAY – Maser Consulting PA, a multidiscipline consulting and engineering design firm, is pleased to announce Susan Swift, AICP has joined the team as Geographic Discipline Leader of Planning Services. As former Tampa Deputy Planning Director and creator of the Development Services Center, she was instrumental in planning for the Channel District and The Riverwalk.

“Susan has a mix of public and private project expertise, a great deal of experience throughout the state of Florida and will be an asset to our continued growth in the region,” said Deborah Alaimo Lawlor, FAICP, PP, Planning Discipline Leader for Maser Consulting and current American Planning Association/American Institute of Certified Planners National AICP President.

Ms. Swift is known as a change agent and innovator. She has testified before and collaborated with policymakers in three states to improve transportation, affordable housing and historic preservation. Each jurisdiction benefitted from her focus on transforming the development review and permitting procedures and updating their codes and plans.
