A Big Picture View of Scheduling
Maser Consulting has gained visibility and flexibility thanks to a new field scheduling solution.
For companies with large, distributed workforces, maintaining a complete view of scheduling can be a challenge, particularly using manual processes. Maser Consulting recently improved its own scheduling visibility and other field operations using a new scheduling/dispatch tool and mobile technology, which has saved time for managers and streamlined the company’s work assignment processes.
Maser Consulting P.A. is a privately owned, multidiscipline engineering firm with a unique balance of public and private sector experience. Established in 1984 by Richard M. Maser, chairman and CEO, the firm is headquartered in Red Bank, NJ. Currently, the firm has 32 offices strategically located nationwide and employs more than 900 professionals, including licensed engineers, planners, surveyors, landscape architects, and environmental scientists.
Maser offers a range of services, from civil engineering to construction inspections, and the firm is growing rapidly. The company provides a number of field-based services, including land surveying, mapping, GIS, and geospatial services. “Surveying is our largest discipline, and we have 200 employees in that department with more than 100 of those working as part of our field crews,” says Karen Delgado, corporate systems manager and associate at Maser Consulting.
