Colliers Engineering & Design Elevates its Finance/Accounting Group

Colliers Engineering & Design, a national multi-discipline engineering design firm, is pleased to announce that Dave Tingley has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Thomas J. Hinczynski, has transitioned into the role of Chief Financial Reporting Officer (CFRO).

The firm’s growth, acquisitions and integration demands led to the decision to modify the structure of the Finance and Accounting function.

Mr. Tingley is an experienced executive having worked over 21 years in operational and corporate finance and accounting leadership roles for private and public firms.  He most recently served as Vice President of Finance and Assistant Corporate Secretary at T.Y. Lin International. Prior to that, Mr. Tingley held senior leadership roles with AECOM, Amentum, and URS.  He is a licensed CPA and began his career in public accounting before moving into the Architecture, Engineering and Design space where he has held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility.

As CFO, he will oversee the firm’s day-to-day accounting and finance activities including business planning and analysis, identifying and implementing efficiencies in the firm’s financial practices in support of its continued profitable growth strategy, and financial controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

In order to best support Colliers Engineering & Design’s continued growth, Thomas J. Hinczynski facilitated in developing his new role as Chief Financial Reporting Officer (CFRO).

In order to further support the firm’s growth and the business’ enhanced reporting and analysis needs, Mr. Hinczynski facilitated the development of the CFRO role and will focus on key areas including the firm’s internal and external financial reporting, increasing business acumen across the enterprise, and continuing to keep its foundational business moving forward. He is a licensed CPA and has over 35 years of experience in the accounting profession and over a decade with Colliers Engineering & Design (formerly Maser Consulting).

Mr. Tingley and Mr. Hinczynski both report directly to President & CEO, Kevin Haney.
