Colliers Engineering & Design was retained to provide survey, site design, environmental, and geotechnical services for a senior living development in Mountain Lakes. Over the years, Sunrise Senior Living communities have redefined senior care, and they continue to grow throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

This $25 million project includes a three-story, 83,000 SF building with parking lots, utilities, and recreation space for the residents. Our services included Preliminary and Final Site Plan designs, stormwater management design, and permitting assistance. Grading design was a big component of our engineering efforts due to the steep slopes and changes on site. The development of this site also required coordination by Colliers Engineering & Design with the local government to amend the local ordinance for a conditional use permit.
