Colliers Engineering & Design is pleased to announce the hiring of Jimmy Stewart, PE, to be the Southeast Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Regional Manager.
“We are excited to have Jimmy join the team,” said Daniel Checchia, National SUE Discipline Leader. “His diverse background and emphasis on cultivating relationships will help our clients navigate their SUE investigations with ease.”
Jimmy began his career as a civil engineer before transitioning to SUE services. His background is primarily in Transportation & Traffic Engineering, Construction Management, and Utility Engineering & Infrastructure Mapping.
In this role, Jimmy will be responsible for the growth and business of SUE from Washington, DC to Florida. He will be managing the statewide on-call SUE contracts primarily with local Departments of Transportation.
“I am excited to be joining a strong SUE and Survey team,” said Jimmy. “SUE holds a critical role in traffic and transportation projects, and I look forward to expanding our service line across the nation.”
Jimmy holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Virigina. He is an active member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Highway Engineers, Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute, and Society for Marketing Professional Services.
