Colliers Engineering & Design provided project management, construction administration, shop drawing review, and payment recommendations for the redesign of three major intersections in the Borough. Montvale Intersection & Roadway Improvements involved the full reconstruction of the intersection and traffic signal at West Grand Avenue and Spring Valley Road; the full reconstruction of the intersection and traffic signal at Spring Valley Road and Summit Avenue; and the replacement of the traffic signal only, along with minor upgrades to ADA ramps at the intersection of West Grand Avenue and Paragon Drive/Phillips Parkway. The project also included changing the signalization of all intersections and the widening of a portion of Chestnut Ridge Road.

The intersection improvements and roadway widening were needed to improve traffic flow in the Borough. Years of development in the area had resulted in traffic delays in the local roadway network. The improved intersections will help maintain economic vitality and quality of life for the residents and businesses of Montvale.
