Colliers Engineering & Design was recently awarded a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Continuing Service contract for Survey Support in District 7 under Wantman Group Inc. The initial task order involved an updated control survey and topographic design survey for five miles of US Route 41 in Hillsborough County, from Bullfrog Creek to Denver Street.

Our professionals provided Mobile LiDAR acquisition, processing, and extraction for the design survey scope and merged conventional survey data collected by the Wantman Group. This data was utilized to develop standard FDOT design files, including a detailed digital terrain model created from the LiDAR point cloud.
