Williams/Transco Multi-State Land Survey Contract

Various Locations

Over the past 10 years, Colliers Engineering & Design has provided land surveying services for multiple projects for Williams Gas Pipeline/Transco. Projects have included:

  • Performing preliminary surveys for the 250-mile long Atlantic Sunrise project in eastern Pennsylvania.
  • Performing preliminary surveys, including condemnation plants and clearing stakeout, for the 121-mile long Constitution project from Scranton, PA to Albany, NY.
  • Performing field surveying services along with right-of-way base map and condemnation plan preparation for 18 miles of the Sentinel Expansion Project, which led to the extension of the existing pipeline facilities in New Jersey (Union and Somerset Counties) and Pennsylvania (Northampton, Monroe, Chester, and Luzerne Counties) that were part of a 10,500-mile pipeline system, reaching from Texas to New York. The new pipeline parallels the existing pipeline.
  • Providing two survey crews to perform topographic and right-of-way surveys for the re-design of 25 miles of a natural gas line known as the Gulfstream Project in Florida. The entire Gulfstream Pipeline is 745 miles (294 miles in Florida; 15 miles in Alabama and Mississippi; 17 miles offshore processing; 419 miles offshore to Florida).
  • Using a Virtual Real-Time Kinematic GPS Network in Rockaway Beach, Long Island, New York, to locate 31 aerial photo control points. The aerial photo control was used to produce topographic mapping for the design of a new pipeline expansion project.
