Kevin Comalander Joins Colliers Engineering & Design
Colliers Engineering & Design, a national multi-discipline engineering design firm, is pleased to announce it has hired Kevin Comalander as Senior Project Manager for Utility Design Engineering.
He is one of the founding members of NC811 LRPC (Locate Resolution Partnership Committee) started in 2017 to reduce the number of locates tickets/update tickets through ticket management and communications between contractors, locators and facility operators. Most recently, he served on the Board of Directors of SC811- Public Utilities Protection Services, serving the state of South Carolina, and served as Chairman for the South Carolina Utilities Coordinating Committee 2019-2020.
“Kevin has an immense amount of regional experience in every aspect of utility design particularly with high-end OSP Construction and Engineering projects,” said Alex Hall, PE Department Manager of Utility Design Engineering for Colliers Engineering & Design. “He is an asset to our company and we are very happy to have him onboard.”
Mr. Comalander’s experience includes managing and directing numerous multimillion-dollar OSP Construction and Engineering projects, and Operations functions for one of the largest independent fiber bandwidth companies in the US. Additionally, he was responsible for all general maintenance including locating services, 811-One Call management, damage recovery, investigations, collections, route maintenance and quality compliance in the Southeast Region, which included North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
