The Agency’s Brand, Built Into Every Detail
“Where we live is who we are.” That mantra from CEO Sharon Napier set the tone for everything that followed. Partners + Napier is an award-winning marketing and advertising agency that was ready to bring its team under one roof. Previously divided between two buildings and limited by space, the agency partnered with our firm and The Pike Company for a fast-tracked design-build interior fit-out tied to their 2018 office relocation. The goal was a workspace that embodied the brand itself: energized, gutsy, collaborative, and comfortable.
The centerpiece is a 24-foot-wide monumental stair connecting the 3rd and 4th floors. Constructed of steel and reclaimed wood, the 900-square-foot stair serves as a gathering space outfitted with projection screens and a sound system to support all-agency meetings. It flows from the 4th floor café into the 3rd floor’s video conferencing room, framed by a thirty-foot-wide telescoping glass wall. It’s equal parts infrastructure, stage, and living room.
Ten Teams, One Vision
Our team provided full pre-design, design, and construction administration services. Programming began with interviews of nearly ten employee groups to document diverse workstyles and spatial needs. That research shaped an intentionally experiential layout, one that guides clients through an open plan reflecting the agency’s creative process. Shared spaces include a café bar with specialty coffee and taps, a client lounge, signature conference room, brainstorm zones, and a virtual reality suite.
Working closely with the client, our firm curated custom graphics, finishes, and guest experiences, delivering a space that doesn’t just house a creative agency. It feels like one the moment you step inside.
