This project involved widening Peters Road from Pine Island Road to SR 817/University Drive to accommodate a buffered bicycle lane in each direction of travel. Colliers Engineering & Design provided design and post-design services for this off-system mobility project. In addition to the widening, project improvements included roadway realignment to avoid right of way encroachments, which required the reconstruction of sections of the median curb and gutter, replacement of bus stops, modifications to pedestrian curb ramps to meet ADA requirements, relocation of drainage structures, and lighting upgrades at the University Drive intersection.

Our Design team received a District Four PASS Score of 0 on this project; the score reflects the number of errors in our Final Plans Submittal.
