Form Follows Function
The two-story, 295,000-square-foot structure balances 150,500 square feet of research and development space with 144,500 square feet of office and support functions. An industrial aesthetic drives the design language, with expansive open areas, generous natural light through large glass installations, and exposed structural elements that honor the technical work happening inside. Every decision reinforced the same principle: the building should feel as inventive as the people who occupy it.
Inside and Out
Beyond the walls, the design extends into thoughtfully integrated patios and balconies that soften the building’s scale and create welcoming outdoor spaces. Distinct entryways provide clear wayfinding for employees and visitors alike. The result is a facility that fosters collaboration at every turn while reflecting the innovative spirit at the heart of Dart’s research and product development.
