Colliers Engineering & Design is providing comprehensive engineering and construction support services for the construction of the Grasselli Road bridge and elevated roadway. Central to this project is a 498-ft, four-span continuous, horizontally curved steel girder bridge. The bridge carries two traffic lanes and a sidewalk over two roads and two Conrail spur lines.
The project includes 1,100 ft of MSE wall and 700 ft of CMC ground improvements along the north approach. Our design services include final design (structural, survey, traffic, roadway, drainage, lighting, geotechnical, and permitting), utility coordination with 11 different utility companies, and rail coordination with Conrail review. Our construction services coordination includes all shop drawing/RFI review, change of plan coordination/review, progress meetings, and contractor quantity/invoice reviews.
