Colliers Engineering & Design’s Cris Howard to Moderate Discussion at Federal Conference
Phoenix, AZ (November 5, 2024) – Cris Howard, AICP, of Colliers Engineering & Design (HILGARTWILSON joined Colliers Engineering & Design in 2023), will be moderating a design-build panel entitled “Innovation at USACE: Advancing Partnership Through Construction Management Innovation” at the national Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Small Business Conference, November 20-22 in New Orleans. This conference brings together federal agencies and businesses operating in the federal marketplace for the architecture, engineering, construction, and facility maintenance/management industries. More than 5,000 attendees are expected to attend.
Ms. Howard is a Senior Project Manager with Colliers Engineering & Design, benefiting clients with 24 years of experience managing environmental, master planning, and construction projects. In her tenure, she has managed a variety of projects from budget through completion involving: National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance; geographic information systems (GIS) design; vertical and horizontal construction; community impacts; visual assessments; public involvement; cultural resources; threatened and endangered species; invasive species management; and coordination with federal, state, tribal, and local agencies. She has extensive experience with environmental regulatory compliance related to the NEPA process, including Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), Environmental Assessments (EAs), and Records of Environmental Consideration (RECs); Sections 404, 401, and 408 of the Clean Water Act (CWA); the Endangered Species Act; and National Historic Preservation Act.
Ms. Howard is an active member of the local chapter of SAME, which will host the conference in Arizona in 2025.
