SHIP B2 Merck Tenant Fitout
Spring House, PAThe Spring House Innovation Park campus is undergoing a series of renovations to become a truly contemporary hub of scientific activity on the cutting edge of life sciences therapies and delivery technologies.
The project includes two floors featuring laboratory, office, and support spaces. The laboratories are centrally located within the building, with glass partitions allowing for views and natural light. A core and shell design team worked with Merck and the owners to design the building envelope and core spaces, as well as define critical (long-lead) primary equipment for the HVAC and electrical systems. Our engineers performed energy modeling to identify areas for improvement beyond these core and shell elements.
By repurposing Building 2’s existing structure, the Spring House Innovation Park Campus will gain access to state-of-the-art technologies necessary for developing important therapies while also reinforcing Merck and the campus ownership’s commitment to sustainability.
