The Millhurst Dam consists of 270-ft long timber sheeting with earthen fill embankment.  The spillway is approximately 27 ft in length and consists of a concrete ogee type spillway with stone masonry wingwalls. The dam is approximately 24 ft in height form the crest to the toe.  Colliers Engineering & Design performed a formal inspection of the dam and prepared an Operations and Maintenance Manual and an Emergency Action Plan, which were submitted to the NJDEP.  This project also included underwater inspection, survey, hydraulic analysis, geotechnical investigation, environmental permitting (including Dam Safety, Wetlands and Cultural Resources), as well as highway and bridge design, and the design of a new dam and spillway structure.  (State of New Jersey Dam ID No. NJ-00296)
