Gene Therapy Manufacturing Facility

Cranbury, NJ

This project involved transforming a 100,000 sq. ft. shell space into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to supporting the production and development of Gene and Cell-based Therapies (GCTs) for clinical use. The facility comprises various essential components, including research laboratories, office areas, a warehouse equipped with shipping and receiving docks, conference rooms, a kitchen, a server room, a cafeteria, and utility spaces.

A notable feature of the manufacturing wing is its construction using modular cleanroom panel systems tailored to facilitate the seamless expansion of production lines in the future. Additionally, a walkable interstitial space has been incorporated to facilitate maintenance operations, ensuring efficiency and adaptability over time.

Our integrated design team coordinated closely with the client to address current and future needs, paying special attention to creating an inviting and contemporary office environment designed to attract top talent to the organization.
