2018 Montgomery Award for Excellence in Planning

Provided professional engineering design, land survey services, and geotechnical engineering for the development of the 22-acre site of Centre Square Commons in Whitpain Township. The 115,000 SF retail center and associated parking lot, containing 555 spaces, promotes Whitpain’s “walkable” community goals with pathways to move pedestrians around the site both internally and externally. The shopping center and commercial development also features courtyards and landscape architecture features to encourage patrons to gather together in outdoor spaces.

Our services included utility coordination; site plan preparation; grading, drainage, and utility plans; soil erosion and sediment control plan; stormwater management report; regulatory permitting; and construction document preparation.
