As part of Brightline’s 235-mile intercity passenger rail corridor connecting Orlando and Miami, our team provided comprehensive bridge design, inspection, and load rating services for twenty-one new or replacement structures. The project encompassed a range of bridge types—including prestressed concrete I-girders, steel deck girders, and through plate girder bridges—spanning lengths from 240 feet to over 1,700 feet. An additional 14 slab superstructures were also designed to support this transformative high-speed rail initiative.

All designs were developed in accordance with AREMA and Eurocode-based serviceability criteria for high-performance passenger rail systems. Critical to the project’s success was the ability to manage complex construction activities within an active freight rail corridor, ensuring uninterrupted operations throughout project delivery.
