Jennifer Mayadas-Dering, PE, CEM Geographic Discipline Leader for Electrical Engineering with the firm’s Energy Services Division.

ALBANY, NY – Maser Consulting PA, a multidiscipline consulting and engineering design firm, is pleased to announce that it has hired Jennifer Mayadas-Dering, PE, CEM Geographic Discipline Leader for Electrical Engineering with the firm’s Energy Services Division. She is an experienced Electrical Engineer and Energy Manager, with capabilities that include the implementation of overhead and underground transmission line installations, including terminations and testing for bulk power transmission, substation, and generation facilities.

“We are very happy that Jennifer has joined our Energy Services Team,” stated Steven J. DeCarlo, Director of Utility Services for Maser Consulting. “Her combined project management skills will greatly enhance the continual growth we project for expanding our energy services.”

Ms. Mayadas-Dering formerly worked for the New York Power Authority (NYPA) as Operations Planning Manager for Power Supply Operations and Transmission. Her responsibilities included management of the security and reliability of NYPA’s existing bulk power transmission, substation and generation facilities; NERC compliance and Smart Grid research and development.
