Colliers Project Leaders was hired to complete the extensive renovation of the Boston Historic Seaport Red Hat facility. This project featured cutting edge technology set in a historic wharf building, for the Executive Briefing Center (EBC) and Engineering Lab. The project features an exquisite interior and two “hidden” rooms, one of which is a speakeasy.

One major challenge for this project was overcoming unacceptable acoustics for the programmatic requirements of the EBC. Colliers commissioned an acoustic engineer to provide recommendations.

The project was delivered in time to align with the client’s Boston based summit, and has been highly successful for Red Hat, driving a record number of briefings in the new EBC. The increased demand for space by Red Hat in Boston resulted in Red Hat engaging Colliers to lead the buildout of the expansion space on floor two.
