Headquarters/Red Bank, NJ – Maser Consulting P.A., a national multidiscipline consulting and engineering design firm is pleased to announce David J. Martin has joined the firm as a Senior Project Manager in the Traffic Engineering & ITS service division, where he will be leading the Traffic Engineering team. Mr. Martin has dedicated over three decades working for the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) as a traffic engineer and road user safety advocate and has a renowned reputation for his expertise as a leader in traffic control device design (traffic signals, signing and striping), regulatory implementation, program management, and alternatives evaluation.

Mr. Martin held multiple titles during his tenure at the NJDOT.  As Supervising Highway Engineer in the Bureau of Traffic Engineering, he managed New Jersey’s Automated Enforcement Pilot Program and served as liaison to Red-Light Running vendors, municipalities and state officials, assisted in the development and review of legislation and coordinated related regulatory activities with Deputy Attorneys General, NJDOT staff and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) officials. While serving as Acting Director in the Division of Traffic Engineering and Safety, he doubled as State Traffic Engineer and State Safety Engineer.
