Maser Consulting’s Lynn A. LaMunyon, PE, PTOE has been named one of New Jersey’s 2016 Best 50 Women in Business. The NJBIZ award program honors New Jersey’s successful and influential women in business who have been making headlines in their field.

Ms. LaMunyon has over 30 years of extensive traffic engineering experience and currently serves as the Discipline Leader of Traffic/Transportation Services at Maser Consulting P.A. She directly oversees a successful team of 25 employees within the civil, traffic and computer engineering fields. She has established herself as an industry leader through her active involvement in the Institute of Transportation Engineers Metropolitan NY-NJ Section (ITE Met Section) and the Intelligent Transportation Society of NJ (ITSNJ). “Ms. LaMunyon’s dedication to furthering the industry helps to ensure the Firm’s continued growth and success,” said Maser Consulting CEO and President Richard Maser. “It is an honor to work alongside her, and we’re proud to have her on our team.”

Ms. LaMunyon makes it a priority to share her knowledge through mentoring and teaching and has spent considerable time instructing young women through the Academy at Rutgers for Girls in Engineering and Technology and ITSNJ Women in ITS committee. Additionally, she organizes and runs a food drive for HomeFront of Central New Jersey and is actively involved in the Salvation Army in Hamilton, NJ.

An independent panel of judges selected the top fifty winners based on dedication to their careers, leadership, vision, community service, and mentoring. “We are truly fortunate to have the opportunity to recognize this outstanding group of women,” said Thomas Curtin, publisher of NJBIZ. “As business and community leaders, they are constantly redefining success within and outside the business arena.”
