As a subconsultant, Colliers Engineering & Design (CED) provided all coatings-related services (consulting and inspection) for this $19.2 million bridge repair/rehabilitation project. The project includes complete removal and replacement of the existing coating system for I-95/SR 9 Bridges #860429, 860430 & 860431 over South Fork New River. In 2007, CED had also provided full-time coatings inspection on the same bridge structure during the maintenance rehabilitation of multiple cross-frames, which were found to be coated with lead-containing paint.
