Barney Farms Storage Tank & Booster Pump Station

Queen Creek, AZ

Our Water Infrastructure team provided engineering design for a storage tank and booster pump station on Meridian Road for the Town of Queen Creek, enhancing water system operations for existing and future customers.

Phase One involved designing a 3.0 MG pre-stressed concrete storage tank for optimal strength and durability. Strategically placed to minimize visual impact, the tank is partially buried twenty-two feet below grade and twelve feet above. Its concrete roof, supported by columns, ensures minimal maintenance over its expected 100+ year lifespan.

Phase Two included constructing two booster pump stations, each accommodating up to four pumps. One serves the Town’s Lower Zone, the other the H2O Zone pressure zone. The station can also fill from the higher-pressure H2O Zone during off-peak hours.

Through expert planning and innovative design, our firm has contributed to the long-term sustainability and efficiency of Queen Creek’s water system.
