Brightspeed, an internet service provider, recently began a massive project to install high-speed fiber optic cable over roughly 400,000 feet in Pittsboro, North Carolina. To ensure the project ran smoothly, our firm was brought in as a sub-consultant in collaboration with Excell Communications to obtain all necessary permits for the installation work.

Over a two-week period, our expert technicians conducted extensive fieldwork, gathering data on approximately 1,800 poles. This collected information was then processed to facilitate easy exportation for permit creation and construction drawing development. Subsequently, we submitted permit applications to the respective pole owners. Our team also produced detailed CAD drawings illustrating both underground and aerial routes, which were then forwarded to the appropriate right-of-way entities for final approval.

With our help, Brightspeed completed the project on time, and the residents of Pittsboro now have access to a more reliable high-speed internet connection.
