The City contracted with us to update their unfederated ArcServer, version 10.6.1. This updated environment brought the City to a federated ArcGIS Enterprise Portal. This federated portal deployment houses the City’s GIS data. The City’s Enterprise GIS program now functions on the latest version of SQL, and Esri eGIS software taking full advantage of cutting-edge GIS technologies for staff collaboration, and for managing operation and maintenance of City assets. Our team created GIS Portal Administration Standard.

Our team created an Operating Procedures Manual for the City. This document contained procedures related to the following areas of the eGIS program:

• Connection information for accessing the Virtual Machines that host the different components of the eGIS environment.
• URL’s and credentials needed for administrative access of the eGIS environment.
• Common practices for publishing
• Best practices for Portal Administration Data Management
• Publishing methods
• Access configurations to various Esri Applications through Portal (will vary based on which applications the City would like to deploy)
